Letto basso con struttura portante in legno di Acacia portoghese. I piedi molto arretrati danno l'idea di sospensione. La testata , molto irregolare, è fatta di essenze diverse creando un gioco di colori. I comodini ,incorporati nella testata,danno l'idea di due cassetti aperti.

Low bed with load-bearing structure in Portuguese Acacia wood. The very set-back feet give the idea of suspension. The headboard, very irregular, is made of different essences creating a play of colors. The nightstands, incorporated into the headboard, give the idea of two open drawers.

Tutto in listelli di massello di Toulipier, legno molto umile con belle colorazioni chiare talvolta tendenti al verde.
La sagomatura asimmetrica di testiera ed ali è stata creata sul posto, a misura dello spazio concesso.
Il contrasto cromatico delle gambe è reso dalla sezione dei listelli alternati.

Everything in solid Tulipwood strips, a very humble wood with beautiful light colors sometimes tending to green. The asymmetric shaping of the headboard and wings was created on site, to fit the given space. The chromatic contrast of the legs is achieved by the alternating strips' section.

Questo letto si caratterizza per la testiera ( in legni misti di Acacia portoghese e Toulipié) :pensata per seguire i casuali disegni dei rami di un albero. Durante la costruzione si è trasmormata in un cactus del deserto, se così si può immaginare.
La base (contenitore) a fasce è sempre in Acacia portoghese(legno scuro) e Toulipié (chiaro), mentre i due comodini, anch'essi "rami" del letto, solo in Acacia portoghese.

This bed is characterized by its headboard (in mixed woods of Portuguese Acacia and Tulipwood): designed to follow the random patterns of tree branches. During construction, it transformed into a desert cactus, if one can imagine. The striped base (container) is in Portuguese Acacia (dark wood) and Tulipwood (light), while the two nightstands, also "branches" of the bed, are only in Portuguese Acacia.

Letto contenitore in legno di Rovere naturale con fascia inferiore dipinta nera a poro aperto.
La testiera ha due cavità per appoggio libri o altro, mentre la fascia bassa ai piedi è lievemente inlinata verso l'interno per smorzare una linea sennò troppo regolare.

Container bed in natural Oak wood with lower strip painted black with open pore. The headboard has two cavities for book support or other, while the low strip at the foot is slightly inclined inwards to soften an otherwise too regular line.

In legno di Alder, ha una linea semplicissima, mossa dalle fughe orizzontali di incisioni sulle fasce di legno e dal taglio obliquo dello spigolo nella testiera.
I comodini possono scorrere lungo le sponde del letto, tramite un meccanismo semplicissimo

In Alder wood, it has a very simple line, animated by the horizontal gaps of incisions on the wood strips and the oblique cut of the edge in the headboard. The nightstands can slide along the bed's sides, via a very simple mechanism.

Nato a Roma nel 1977, Nicola Sirtori vive e lavora a Pisa nel suo laboratorio artigianale fino al 2016. Da inizio 2017 si trasferisce a Lisbona dove inizia un nuovo percorso nel suo laboratorio alle porte della capitale portoghese. Oltre ai lavori che esegue sul territorio, ha ideato e realizzato altri progetti in città italiane e estere, quali Roma, Bruxelles, Londra, Parigi.
Who I am
Born in Rome in 1977, Nicola Sirtori lived and worked in Pisa in his artisanal workshop until 2016. In early 2017, he moved to Lisbon, where he began a new journey in his workshop on the outskirts of the Portuguese capital. In addition to his work locally, he has designed and completed other projects in Italian and international cities, including Rome, Brussels, London, and Paris.
