Ultimo pezzo di una casa completamente fatta su misura.
Ormai l'amore per il ferro è assodato e il suo utilizza nelle librerie mi diverte molto.Qua ho osato, abbinandolo ad un legno molto poco usato : lo Zebrano.
Il risultato mi piace molto e l'effetto di coinvolgere tutta la stanza è riuscita: da l'ultimo blocco, sulla sinistra, parte una linea di legno che rimane molto sottile per gran parte del percorso e si amplia in profondità dove diventa mensola. La fine del percorso serve a coprire il telo per proiezioni.

Last piece of a completely custom-made house. By now, the love for iron is established and its use in bookshelves amuses me a lot. Here I dared, pairing it with a very little used wood: Zebrano. The result pleases me a lot and the effect of involving the whole room has succeeded: from the last block, on the left, a line of wood starts, remaining very thin for most of the path and widening in depth where it becomes a shelf. The end of the path serves to cover the projection screen.

Col desiderio di avere qualcosa di leggero e mosso, i clienti hanno accolto questa idea per arredare il loro corridoio.
Colonnini verticali in ferro e ripiani in MDF giallo colorato in fabbrica.
Le linee possono dare un senso di casualità, ma in realtà una loro logica la hanno; soprattutto nel circondare prese elettrice, interruttori, quadro elettrico e lampada esistenti.

With the desire to have something light and dynamic, the clients have welcomed this idea to furnish their corridor. Vertical iron columns and shelves in factory-colored yellow MDF. The lines may give a sense of randomness, but in reality, they have a logic; especially in surrounding existing electrical outlets, switches, electrical panel, and lamp.

Nata dall’ idea di un albero stilizzato in segmenti ortogonali sfalsati, tutta la struttura si regge sulla piccola base in acciaio e grazie al fondale di legno ancorato al muro in vari punti. Il gioco vuoti-pieni è reso con sportelli di vetro opaco in tinta.
La leggerezza del tamburato, laccato grigio piombo, permette al tutto di stare in piedi.

Born from the idea of a stylized tree in staggered orthogonal segments, the entire structure is supported by the small steel base and thanks to the wooden background anchored to the wall at various points. The empty-full play is achieved with tinted opaque glass doors. The lightness of the lead-grey lacquered panel allows the whole thing to stand upright.

Con la complicità dei clienti , ci siamo divertiti ad andare oltre ogni ragionevole schema...Linee e spazi senza regole.
Ferro e legno insieme per creare il contrasto chiaro-scuro, il verde per dare colore al tutto e il vetro per chiudere.

Struttura complessa, fatta di un mobile basso a terra e una scaffalatura alta separata e sospesa. Vi si mescolano, sullo sfondo dei muri policromi e del soffitto a mattoni, le parti in legno laccato, il vetro, il rovere nudo e l’acciaio del sistema di sospensione.
L’insieme privo di un contorno e l’allargarsi delle mensole verso l’alto muovono la struttura.

Complex structure, made of a low ground-level unit and a separate suspended high shelving. Against the background of multicolored walls and brick ceiling, lacquered wood parts, glass, raw Oak, and steel suspension system blend together. The lack of a clear outline and the widening of shelves upwards animate the structure.

Questa libreria ha la particolarità di essere molto "leggera" grazie ai fianchi non pieni. Da destra a sinistra si può vedere attraverso tutta la libreria. Il colore bianco aumenta la sensazione di leggerezza, insieme agli ampi vani.

This bookshelf has the peculiarity of being very "light" thanks to its non-solid sides. From right to left, you can see through the entire bookshelf. The white color increases the feeling of lightness, together with the wide open spaces.

Nato a Roma nel 1977, Nicola Sirtori vive e lavora a Pisa nel suo laboratorio artigianale fino al 2016. Da inizio 2017 si trasferisce a Lisbona dove inizia un nuovo percorso nel suo laboratorio alle porte della capitale portoghese. Oltre ai lavori che esegue sul territorio, ha ideato e realizzato altri progetti in città italiane e estere, quali Roma, Bruxelles, Londra, Parigi.
Who I am
Born in Rome in 1977, Nicola Sirtori lived and worked in Pisa in his artisanal workshop until 2016. In early 2017, he moved to Lisbon, where he began a new journey in his workshop on the outskirts of the Portuguese capital. In addition to his work locally, he has designed and completed other projects in Italian and international cities, including Rome, Brussels, London, and Paris.
